Pouring Into Children

Today is the first day of VBS. Kids are sleeping now, but in just a few minutes they’ll awake and be getting ready to go to church.

I believe one of the most underrated ministries at any church is the children’s ministry. It is, in many regards, the most important ministry at a church. I thank God for our Children’s Pastor, JP Perez, and the many, many volunteer servants who labor tirelessly to our into kids’ lives, including my own. Theirs is often a thankless ministry - on this side of eternity!

I can’t wait to see what the church looks like - they’ve spent hours yesterday decorating and preparing. Every room will be unique. It’ll be great.

Not just memories will be created this week, but an eternal, everlasting, profound work in each little life, the likes of which we will never know until heaven.
