About Pat

Pat grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where the Lord began to touch his heart through the concert ministry of a church called Calvary Chapel.

After giving His life to the Lord as a teenager, he set off for the University of Miami, where he studied Music Engineering Technology. During university, Pat was involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. After graduation, he went on a short term missions trip to Ecuador with HCJB World Radio.

After working for a few years a sound engineer, Pat sensed a call to be in ministry. He began to serve at Calvary Chapel Miami, where he led worship, took some groups on missions trips, and served in the areas of media and discipleship. It wasn’t long before God began to stir his heart to move to the Toronto area to plant a church.
After just under eleven months on living in Canada, Pat and his wife’s unborn son was diagnosed with several heart defects and would require multiple surgeries and hospitalizations. They decided to move back to Florida to be close to family during this difficult time.

It was during this time that Pat went on staff at Calvary Chapel Kendall as an assistant pastor, where he served for roughly five years.

Now, with a healthy son, God’s relentless call on Pat’s life led the Sielers back to the Toronto area in order to pastor what is now Calvary Fellowship, in Oakville.

He and his wife have three amazing kids and are totally having a blast living in Canada.

    Dear Pat

I heard your song on sharesong.org. It was so beautiful; I had to hear other songs that you have written.

We all have a story. I believe God has called me to write songs. I dream songs, I hear song in my head while driving to work and back, but since 1987 they remain simple melodies in my heart. I sing them at my church occasionally but other than that they remain in my heart. Recently heard the father say the time is now. I want to move out with my songs. By that I mean record them, put them out there. You inspired me with your beautiful praise songs. They are like prayer songs. Keep up the good work. You may think you are going unnoticed but your songs have touched my heart. I am encouraged to move on with the songs God has given me. Thank you for letting God use you.

    Hi Pat,

I noticed you were reading Corrie Ten Boom’s “The Hiding Place”. I just get so excited when I hear someone is reading this book because it showed me through this family’s life the amazing love of Christ. In addition to Corrie Ten Boom’s life, I was especially blessed by her sister Becky’s heart–a true gentle and quiet spirit. This is the Agape Love that reminds me of Jesus and it’s what I pray for each day. I hope you are enjoying the book as much as I did. It is a real treasure.

    God bless,

    Jackie Romero
